Host a server for your friends

Run your own ACC or AC EVO server on your PC and race your mates on it. Set up a quick race in a few clicks. Stintwise opens the ports on routers that support UPnP and gives everyone a live map they can follow on their phones.

Free for one server, with the live map and replays

01Ports

Ports opened for you

Your friends can only join if your router lets them in. On routers that support UPnP, Stintwise opens your server's ports when it starts and closes them again when it stops. It opens only the ports that server uses, and only while it runs.

UPnP has to be switched on in your router, or in your network firewall if you have one. If you'd rather leave it off, Stintwise lists the ports so you can forward them by hand.

To be sure it worked, press Test from the internet. Stintwise checks your server can be reached from outside your home. If it can't, it tells you what to fix.

02Shared addresses

When friends can't reach your PC

Some internet providers share one public address between several customers. This is called CGNAT. Behind it, drivers outside your home can't connect to a server on your PC, and no router setting changes that.

Stintwise tells you if your connection works this way, so you don't lose an evening to it. Your provider may be able to give you a public address.

What you get

Everything on this page is in the free plan.

A quick race in a few clicks

Pick the game, track and cars, press Start, and share the invite card with your mates so they can join.

Installed from Steam

Sign in with the Steam account that owns the game, pick ACC or AC EVO, and Stintwise downloads the server for you. Updating it later takes one click.

A password

Set a password and only the people you give it to can join.

A practice server that's always up

Give the server a practice session to run between races, so whoever's free can turn up and drive. It keeps going while your PC is on, comes back by itself after a crash, and can start when Windows does.

A live map on their phones

Friends who aren't driving open a link and see every car on the track, the gaps between them, and each overtake, contact and pit stop as it happens. There's nothing for them to install.

Replays

Every race is saved. Watch it again on the map, jump to the moment two cars touched, and send a link to that exact second when someone says it wasn't their fault.

Results

Positions and lap times are saved after every session, so you can see who was quickest last week.

What it costs compared with renting

Stintwise is free for one server, and that includes the live map and replays. A rented server costs money every month, but it runs on someone else's machine, so it's there when your PC is off.

Questions about hosting

Do my friends need to install anything?

No. They find your server in the game's server list and join as usual, with the password if you set one. The live map opens in any browser.

Is my PC good enough?

If it runs 64-bit Windows 10 or 11, it can run Stintwise. AC EVO servers also need a processor with AVX2, and Stintwise checks for it before it installs one. Allow about 350 MB of disk for each AC EVO server. ACC servers are small.

Does my PC have to stay on?

Yes, while people are racing or practising. You can close the browser, though. The server keeps running without it.

Do I need to own the game?

Yes. Stintwise downloads the server with your Steam account, and Steam only allows that for an account that owns the game.

What if my friends still can't connect?

Our troubleshooting guides cover the usual causes: ports, firewalls, shared addresses and two routers in a row.
